FOUNDER & DIRECTOR

Nazli Swaby, RECE, is the founder and director of Valleyview Academy, proudly serving the Ancaster, Ontario community. Inspired by her passion for early childhood education, she established Valleyview Academy to meet the needs of a growing community and fulfill her lifelong dream of educating and nurturing young children.

Born in Edremit, Turkiye, Nazli immigrated to Canada with her family in 2001. Her journey in childcare began early, sparked by her love for caring for her twin siblings. This passion evolved into a dedicated career, as she began volunteering in childcare and community-related programs before the age of 10. At just 15 years old, she became the first person in Fort McMurray, Alberta, to participate in the co-op program, gaining hands-on experience working alongside teachers.

Nazli graduated from Mohawk College in 2015 with a diploma in Early Childhood Education. Over the next several years, she honed her skills working in various settings, including private childcare centers, public programs, and in-home daycare environments. Her roles with Community Living Hamilton, the Hamilton-Wentworth District School Board, and the City of Hamilton further enriched her experience.

Her time in private daycare settings solidified her love for teaching, igniting her vision to create a program that blends Montessori principles with the Core Knowledge curriculum. Nazli’s extensive education and practical experience have made her a well-rounded and highly skilled educator, fully committed to fostering the growth and development of every child in her care.

As an active member in good standing with the College of Early Childhood Educators, Nazli understands the vital role early education plays in shaping future success. She is thrilled to bring her expertise and passion to the Ancaster community through Valleyview Academy, offering a highly individualized program designed to help children thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
