Since Cindy first began my interest in taking care of children at the age of twelve, she knew it was her passion! Cindy’s experience working with newborns, toddlers, preschoolers and school-age children has allowed her to develop unique relationships with the kids while also observing their learning and development. Cindy is currently enrolled and actively studying to earn her Early Childhood Education certification. As an organic skincare formulator who has recently graduated from the Formula Botanica program, her goal is to create safe skincare products that are suitable for both newborns, young children and adults.

She’s worked with children and youth in a range of circumstances, including summer camps for kids, daycare volunteer work, and babysitting. Her experience as a camp counsellor and nanny has given her access to knowledge and abilities that are essential when working with youth. Being able to communicate with a child is essential for understanding their wants and needs. Being patient with children is critical for their educational and emotional development.

During Cindy’s spare time, she loves to read as much as she can. Truly, knowledge is power. Cindy also enjoys spending time with her family. Cindy loves to laugh and believes this is why she is so passionate about working with children; they genuinely keep her smiling and laughing every day.
